There are many reasons why webinars are awesome for every business. I am going to cover 10 of the main reasons you should use webinars for the marketing and sales side of your business.
One of the biggest reasons why businesses started doing webinars in the first place is because of the ability to share tremendous amounts of valuable information. The difference between a webinar and a video is that you are able to keep your audience engaged by asking questions and showing visuals. A video doesn’t have the ability to change directions depending on the audience’s needs.
You may not think that providing a free webinar to your clients is a big deal… it actually is. Many out there will think of you as an expert in the field you are in. for someone to sign up for the webinar and make time to actually show up, shows that they are counting on you to share your expertise with them.
Webinars allow you to soft close your audience every time if done correctly. Don’t make the mistake of selling after the webinar. You should be selling your product throughout the webinar so that your audience can find the value in what you do/sell, without it being pushy and salesy.
A nice perk that webinars give you is the ability to communicate with hundreds of people around the world, at the same time, from the comfort of your home or office chair. You don’t need to get up on a stage or in front of a whiteboard! The internet is an amazing thing, isn’t it?
Webinars are very special for a couple reasons. Firstly, they can be scarce. It is a live event. Meaning if someone shows up late, they miss part of it. If they don’t show up at all, they don’t get to see it. Videos allow you to pause and rewind it. The prospect won’t want to miss out on an intriguing webinar.
Secondly, The audience is able to chime in when they want through chat boxes. This gives them the opportunity to ask questions, stay focused and be engaged.
Webinars are a great way to bring in new leads. Many times you will get leads through other ways that aren’t qualified or aren’t ready to buy. For somebody to go through the registration process in order to have access to the webinar, shows that they are interested in what you have to share with them. Which could mean more promising leads for you.
Not only are you getting new leads. But you will be able to deliver some “face time” to your audience as well. They can see you, hear you, and get an idea of how you work. If you radiate confidence in your webinar, your audience will be able to feel that and remember that. Make a good first impression during your webinar.
If you have connections with others you can bring them in on the fun as well! Either as a surprise guest or a planned one! They can be on the other side of the planet, and still be able to provide whatever valuable content to your audience.
Cashflow is a small businesses life. The faster you can convert a lead into a customer the better. With webinars you can fuse your sales funnel steps together and speed up the sales process. You are essentially giving them valuable information/content, showing your product, nurturing them on it, answering questions, killing objections and then selling it to them all in one session.
Or if you charge $10 for the registration to your webinar. That’s easy money.
Webinars are awesome tools that you can use to up your game in the small business world! There are definitely more than 10 good reasons to host webinars. The ones I shared are more focused on the sales and marketing aspect of it.
